Experience	Shri V.T.Rajpara joined as Electricity Ombudsman in Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission in January,2010. He has worked in Gujarat Electricity Board/GETCO/GSECL for 35 years in various capacities as under: 7 years in Distribution Company to provide various services to consumers. 3 years in Testing Division of Transmission Company to ensure healthiness of protection of Extra High Voltage System equipments so that reliability and continuity of power supply is maintained. 25 years in Power Plant Management, Project Management, Fuel Management. Headed in-house formal core groups for performance improvement through root cause analysis of each interruption to maintain quality/quantity, reliable and stable power supply to consumers. Worked as Deputy Manager Representative for accreditation of ISO-9001-2000.- ISO 9001-2000 QMS lead assessor course passed. Participated in Seminar of “Transforming Generation Utilities Power Sector Reform, IIM, Lucknow. Presented Paper on HVDC Transmission System at Afro-Asea Region International Conference held at Kathmandu - Nepal. Retired as Executive Director from GSECL in 2009.

Experience	He is on deputation from Madhya Gujarat Vij Company. Working as Staff Officer at Electricity Ombudsman officer under GERC since 19.01.2011. He is having 19 years experience in Power Distribution Management in Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited ( erstwhile GEB). Worked on AT&C losses reduction activities, Project and implementation of Rural Electrification Scheme, HT, LT and Distribution transformer erection networks for Distribution of power and maintenance activities. Worked as a ISO Lead Auditor, Exam passed from TUV Nord.
